Jumbo Rainbow and Sunflower axolotl 2 in 1 crochet Pattern

With this crochet pattern, you can make a big axolotl plushie in two versions - Sunflower axolotl or Rainbow axolotl (colors can be adjusted to make a regular axolotl). 

With the listed hook size and yarn, plushie ends up about 45cm (18 inches) tall.

The pattern is beginner friendly, as it contains detailed pictures of the process, plus a video on attaching yarn. Additionally, I will gladly answer any of your questions about the pattern, if anything is unclear.

Materials used 

For Rainbow:

• 2 skeins of pink chenille yarn super bulky (I used Baby snuggle/Honey Bunny - 100g, 120m)
• a bit of darker pink yarn for face details
• small amounts of yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green and dark blue yarn for the gills and tail

For Sunflower:

• 2 skeins of green chenille yarn super bulky
• 1 skein of brown and 1 skein of yellow (I used Honey Bunny - 100g, 120m)
• a bit of pink and white yarn for face details

For both:

• 20mm safety eyes + yellow/blue felt (or 30mm safety eyes)
• 5.5 mm crochet hook
• Polyester stuffing
• Needle for sewing
• Scissors
